Scones Recipie

Here is my recipie for my scones I posted about!
  • 3 cups Self-Raising Flour
  • 3/4 cup Milk
  • 3/4 cup Lemonade
  • a pinch of salt
  • Plain flour for dusting
  1. Preheat oven to 220°c
  2. Sift your flour and salt into a medium mixing bowl. Make a well (Crater) in the middle
  3. Slowly add milk and lemonade in small and interchanging amounts.
  4. Mix well with your hands or a wooden spoon.
  5. Dust table with plain flour and plonk out your dough.
  6. Knead it a little till firm and roll out until about 3 centimeters thick. Use your scone cutter, or in my case a shot glass to cut out your scones.
  7. Place the scones close together on a tray with baking paper on it.
  8. Bake for about 10-15 minutes
If there are any issues or anything comment or email me at

Scones and Secret Agents

Today was not the sunniest of days, so to brighten the day up I made some scones. (With the help from my lovely assistant of course!)
Kevin had a friend over to do an assignment *cough cough*,
So I borrowed his sister to do some baking, Scones that is.
They came out a little dense but that would probably have been because I kneaded it a little too much....But they still tasted great!

Even Dad had one with his usual afternoon cup of coffee ^.^
As usual 'assignments' turned into playing computer games and pretending to be secret agents or ninjas?.....
But he couldn't hide from my camera forever!
